  • Infrastructure support – server, network, computer and service desk [70%]
    • Provide first point of contact for users
    • Support Asia Pacific region as part of Service Desk
    • Resolve user issues on first call or escalate as appropriate
    • Monitor the status of user problems after escalation and follow up to the requester
    • Provide status reports as required
    • Support scope will include but not limited to:
      • IT equipment maintenance (desktop, notebook, server, printer, network, etc.)
      • Security administration of local and remote users
      • End user training
      • Disaster recovery procedures, system recovery, virus remediation, etc.
      • Coordinate telephone system maintenance & troubleshooting
      • Server administration
      • Manage local and network based backups
      • Perform preventive maintenance on computers
      • Manage end-point security through existing tools and software, coordinate recovery with user
      • Application deployments using global tools and processes
      • Perform analysis and recommend upgrade of computers
  • IT Service Management [20%]
    • Pro-actively monitor systems to enable speedy detection and remediation of potential and actual IT failures.
    • Initiate IT infrastructure changes to promote better system availability challenges and eliminate potential issues.
    • Use collected information of driving major incidents to drive technical teams take corrective actions. Reduce the frequency of repeated incidents.
    • Ensure major changes undergo rigorous review before implementation to help prevent incidents.
    • Ensure that services are designed and delivered to meet their availability targets.
    • Align with global IT team to deliver a consistent support to all end users by ensuring processes, support channels, services and service.
    • Drive process improvement and keep enhance IT services.
    • Represent and communicate the IT solutions to business team with business understandable terms.
    • Manage the relationships and governance process around IT services for local and global infrastructure vendors
    • Provide technical guidance, leadership and management oversight across the region
    • Coordinate activity and remote implementation of required services using different ways.
    • Resolve senior management team issues on first call or escalate as appropriate.
    • Monitor the status of user problems after escalation and follow up to the requester.
    • Provide status reports as required
    • Budget responsibility (planning & actual tracking) for IT infrastructure in the country
