Client Details

The client provides a pension platform to the public, which is a major infrastructure which aims to reshape the administrative models of MPF schemes and to streamline, standardize and automate the existing scheme administrative processes.

Key Accountabilities

  • Working with a key third-party supplier on the pension platform’s delivery
  • Providing review of contractual work products in a partnership model regularly
  • Steering discussion between a major third party supplier and trustee to reach consensus on the level of services, operational processes, functionalities, data framework and transitional arrangement, etc. of pension platform. In addition, monitor and review the supplier’ s works and deliverables
  • Formulating change management programmes to enhance the adoption of digitalized and paperless MPF administration
  • Performing information management, analysis and management reports preparations
  • Developing, formulating and carrying out policies, standards and rules relating to pensions platform
  • Supervising, coaching and developing subordinates to satisfy organizational needs
  • Performing other duties as assigned

Skills And Qualification

  • A recognized degree or equivalent
  • Around 10 years of relevant experience in legal/regulatory compliance, auditing or risk management and retirement schemes /pensions, of which at least four years at supervisory level, preferably gained from sizable or public organizations (applicants with less experience will be considered as the post of Manager)
  • Preferably with knowledge in corresponding market practices and retirement schemes
  • Commitment to serve in the public sector is a must and prior work experience in a financial regulator is a plus
  • Effective communicator and negotiator with good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
  • Excellent interpersonal leadership and organization skills, solutions- oriented and self-motivated and have ability to work under pressure
  • Eager to and willing to work in a start-up style environment with all the flexibility that requires changes
