Job Description

Responsible for responding to requests for proposals and presentations and support of competitive renewals in China.

Proposal (Bid) Management-

■ In collaboration with Sales identify, capture and develop win themes

■ Champion proposal best practice

■ Manage multiple assignments simultaneously, while working both independently and with other proposals professionals

■ Develop proposal program and identify necessary resources

■ Understand competitive landscape and seek to positively differentiate bid offer

■ Ensure alignment to internal processes and obtain approvals in timely manner

■ Submit consistently high quality, customer focused tender responses within allocated time frame

■ Engage with all organisational SMEs to ensure that contribution is provided

■ Work with creative teams to enhance visual impact of tender responses / presentations

■ Work with knowledge management team to maintain bid library and other relevant business development collateral

■ Support global sales enablement programs to enhance sales productivity

Bid Writing and Development-

■ Complete bid responses according to set standards regarding structure, order, clarity, conciseness, style and terminology

■ Prepare additional materials including presentation decks and clarification responses

BD Projects-

■ Support bid-related projects, including for example-

  • Baseline library/ knowledge management
  • Case Study document generation

■ Driving business growth through improved proposal quality

■ Building robust systems, processes and frameworks to ensure consistency and quality across all pursuits and bids

■ Develop and strengthen key SME relationships to ensure quality content extraction and base line library compilation

■ Improve overall bid win rate

■ Improve feedback from win/loss debriefs

Skills And Knowledge Required For This Role-

■ Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to liaise and negotiate with business and technical stakeholders

■ Client focused, demonstrating an ability to provide quality service

■ Excellent presentation skills and the ability to prepare high standard documents

■ Demonstrated ability to think strategically with a high level of conceptual, innovative, analytical and problem solving skills directed towards positive outcomes in the development and implementation of proposal projects

■ Ability to work effectively as part of the Work Dynamics business with the capacity to work cooperatively and in partnership with peers

■ Highly organised, with strong attention to detail and flexibility to adapt to changing priorities

■ Excellent time management and organisational skills with the ability to manage workflow and priorities and meet deadlines

■ Excellent (English) verbal and written communication skills

■ Intermediate to advanced level in core Microsoft packages – Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
